I wanted something super simple to hold my phone to take time lapse video while my printer was printing. This is super simple, and you have to flex it a bit to get it on and off. I printed mine in ABS, I'm not sure if PLA would break or not. I have an Andriod phone and I use the app Lapse it Pro to capture and render the time lapse video. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ui.LapseItPro This holder works well with phones that have the camera set off to one side. I'm not sure how well it will work with phones that have the camera in the middle. Instructions I print mine with 0.4mm layer height because, well I'm impatient. With my settings there ended up not being any fill pattern, which makes it a little more flexible I think. So far I just leave them on my machine. When I'm not using them I just push them to the side.
