"Turn vintage still lens into Cine-style prime lens" This custom lens re-housing is optimized for "Super Takumar 35mm f/2 (M42 mount, early version)". This lens is an interchangeable vintage prime lens for 35mm still cameras made by Pentax from 1963 to 1966. (It is a retro-focus type optical design that is rarely used in the latest lenses, and despite this old-fashioned optical design), it is one of my personal favorites because of its excellent optical performance and a unique effect. It shows relatively sharp and well-balanced performance even at the maximum aperture of f/2, but it's interesting because it sometimes shows a loud flare effect (because of the old optical design and single coating). It has a 67mm filter thread and is larger and heavier than a typical 35mm prime lens.
