Superb Owl Dual Extrusion

<p>First of all, many thanks to <a href="/zheng3/about">zheng3</a> for the incredible (and hilarious) model.</p> <p>I pulled zheng3's <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:654439">"Superb Owl"</a> into MeshMixer and separated the parts into two different models ready for dual extrusion. I wasn't able to pull everything from zheng3's original model directly and ended up re-meshing the football as well as reimporting <a href="/cushwa/about">cushwa's</a> classic <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:18218">"Owl statue"</a>. So I've made a couple of updates but I think it still has the sprit of the original upload.</p> <p>As you can see from the photos I swapped one of my extruders half way through the print to pull off my tertiary color.</p> <h3> Instructions</h3> <ol> <li>Print one model on each extruder. </li> <li>If desired switch filaments on the "helmet & football" extruder after football has completed printing. </li> <li>Enjoy your colorful Superb Owl!</li> </ol> Category: Animals
