I made this part for a Supermicro 1U CSE-512 server chassis. It mounts using the existing holes in the front of the chassis. I designed it around the Noctua NF-A4x10 fans but it will accommodate different manufactures. The mounting holes are large enough to allow standard coarse fan screws to pass. Fans with smaller mounting holes may require small washers to accommodate their mounting hardware. This part gives you the option to mount multiple size fan thicknesses. One side will allow for 10mm thick fans and the other up to 30mm thick fans. This part has no cable management but allows for easy routing of SATA, power and front panel connector cables. This part is 42mm tall overall height. I added thicker material around the chassis mounting holes. For a bit more detail, I have included photos of 2 different servers using these mounts. Both systems are installed in Supermicro CSE-512 1U chassis. My PBX server is running 3 Noctua fans and pfSense server is running 2 fans I found in my fan stash. The Noctua fans are 10mm thick and use standard coarse-thread fan screws or their rubber mounting system. The 2 generic fans are thicker and have smaller mounting holes. I had to use a smaller diameter screw with coarse threads. I printed this part using Atomic PLA. I used 70% infill for added strength when tightening the fan screws. You may need to add supports for the fan opening if you do not have your printer tuned for bridging. I was able to print this without supports.
