Supernatural - Death's Scythe

A side project I did for my second semester of 3D Animation and VFX. Like my first post, this idea stemed from the TV Show Supernatural, with this being based off the Horseman Death’s first scythe design (Which was actually a sickle). There were not too many reference images for it, however the design was relatively simple to interpret. For this project, the model was made in Maya with the intention of experimenting with bend and twist deformers, and also lattices for rescaling. The textures were made in Substance Painter using the base materials that come with the program.
