Supports for Filament Organizer

Supports for Filament Organizer

These supports keep filament neatly arranged within an enclosed space. A central hole is precisely half an inch in diameter - you can purchase a corresponding wood dowel from Walmart for less than one dollar. The four holes located along the side accept at least 1/4 inch bolts that are exactly 1 inch long. For containment, use a box that measures 51qt and costs ten dollars; Sterilite makes an excellent model that is readily available at Walmart, but any suitable container will work perfectly. These supports are specifically designed for micro 3D printers like the Micro 3DM Printer. Measuring thirteen millimeters in thickness, the larger support is slightly more substantial than the seven millimeter thick smaller piece. Small enough to fit through the central opening, washers can be secured between the spools to prevent shifting - simply glue them in place for a stable and secure arrangement that will keep the spools firmly on track as they rest on the dowel.
