This educational tool is designed for 7th grade students studying surface area in math. The small, flat rectangles are meant to be attached to a rectangular prism using velcro strips on each side. Students can then dissect each individual side, calculate the area of each flat rectangle, and sum up these areas to arrive at the total surface area.
