This is a surrface display image of BCL-2 (shown in grey) bound with venetoclax (shown in colour). This style chosen as it is much easier to display the binding pockets, however this takes away from the overall alpha helical secondary structure. Ultimatley, I plan to display and modify key individual residues that have been shown to produce resistance mutations. I hope I am able to display them in nanome later (I believe this is possible). This is not the case in pymol as there is no modify option and it is difficult to get a sense of the surface shape while showing individual resiudes. In simple, I want to alter the shapes of the binding pockets with simple 1 residue mutations. The function linear ligand on the back side (labelled) or nonaethylene glycol is not determined as of yet and in this draft I will be treating it as an artefact until conclusively determining its function. I did not want to omit it in this draft but rather briefly allude to its existence. DOI: 10.1038/s41467-019-10363-1
