Surface Pro 8 - Power Switch T.O.M.

The Surface Pro 8 has a **usability issue** where the power / awaken button protrudes from the surface of the rounded bevel at an angle that is easy to **accidentally** press. This was identified and brought to my attention by Tom S, via our local makerspace (Hi, Decatur Makers!). This 3D printed bezel prevents accidental button presses while in a user's hands, or in a bag during transit. It also allows the surface to still lay flat against a table, unlike other solutions we could find. It's held in place via small tabs of 3M VHB. I'm calling it the *Tactile Operation Modifier* (T.O.M. for short) in honor of Tom!
