Your task in this project is to create a survival whistle of your own design that can match or improve 100 db; but to make things interesting, you only have two weeks to do it! I’ll give you a hint for getting started: Step 1: Brainstorm: Research how whistles work- Brainstorm some ideas and write down some ideas about how a whistle works and what features should be included in your design. Be sure to check the criteria so your whistle qualifies! Step 2: Plan Design: Think about how to start, create some rough sketches of your design, consider what materials you have and how that may affect how your design works. Step 3: Build Create: Follow your plan and start designing your model in Solidworks or Inventor. Remember to check the project criteria to make sure your whistle meets the needs! Step 4: Test and Analyze: Now we test your model solution. Loudest, most versatile/creative wins!
