6 Wheel Suspended Amphibious (Wader) ATVThe atv is only partially amphibious in that it has a high stance and can cross water at 30" deep. Being that it is made either steel or aluminum for strength, it does not really float. This vehicle is intended to be used by hunters, mountain exploration, and as a general individual play device such as a single seat 4 wheeler. Cab heat, windshield wiper, and removable doors make this an all season machine. In addition, I foresee tracks being used to make this a perfect device for snow follies and exploration. Gross weight is just short of 2200 lbs with a wheel base of 70" x 90". Will easily fit on a small utility trailer.The unit will be powered by a Kohler 3 cylinder diesel or air cooled Commander (similar to heavy ZTR's), and with a 15.5 gallon tank it can run for the weekend. It is sprung by Monroe adjustable air shocks for ride adjustment and ride comfort.
