Suspended Service Lift

Suspended Service Lift

The design for this came about while I was designing my house. The latter isn't complete yet but this service lift seemed decent enough to become my first upload for GrabCAD... I hope... It might not be mechanically feasible but I hope that this helps someone in need for a similar model. I concentrated on making it a simple, practical and relatively compact design. The hoisting frame that gets assembled in the top of the building is built together as one part but you can easily figure out how it can be separated into parts. In the future I might make a more refined model to reflect this. Also the hoisting frame is designed specifically for the illustrated scenario. In order for it to work on the side of the building you would require a counter weight system or a bracing system of some sort which should be greater than the service lift + the load it would carry I guess. Also please feel free to constructively criticize my work, be it negative or positive. I find it important to know why or how I got it right or wrong instead of just knowing I got it wrong or right.
