Suunto Vyper Dive Computer Bungee Boot

Suunto Vyper Dive Computer Bungee Boot

This is a computer boot (mount) to attach the Suunto vyper to a diver's wrist via a bungee cord (shock cord). Once printed, break off the 3 supports. For the shock cord I used about 22.5 inches (57 cm) of 1/8th inch (3.175 mm) cord obtained at REI ($0.39/foot IIRC). The holes in the model are 5mm in diameter. Tie a knot at one end and then feed the cord down through one of the front holes, go back to form one of the arm loops and then up through the non-diagonal back hole. Go directly across to the other back hole and down through it, then forward and up through the last front hole (forming the second arm loop). Tie a second knot at that end of the cord. To tighten once on your arm, the section that goes across the back of the computer can be pulled over the top of the boot and held in place by the lip on the front (see the photos). Change how far down the cord the final knot is tied depending on how thick of a wetsuit you are using.
