Suzuki DR650 Airbox Covers - Stock and with holes

Ever wanted to experiment with holes in your DR650 airbox cover? Have you cut an opening too large and need to revert to stock? I present to you the solution to your troubles! Included is the stock airbox cover STL, along with two additional STL files which have a pre-made 0.5" (12.7mm) hole and 1" (25.4mm) hole. The photograph shows the 1" hole version. That's not sufficient, you say!? I also have uploaded the STEP file of the stock airbox cover so that you can add whatever size and shape hole to the airbox you wish. The screw holes have been designed with a thin solid layer (0.31mm thick) so that the part can be printed without support. Use a drill to open up the screw hole after printing, or be a caveman and hammer the mounting screw through the thin layer of plastic. Use the stock hardware to mount the printed airbox cover to the motorcycle. I printed mine out of PLA and, surprisingly, it has not melted in the 110 degree summer weather. I would recommend a more heat resistant material to be safe, but it seems the air being drawn in by the engine cools the plastic sufficiently. I take no responsibility for any damage you cause to your engine with this design, nor should I be held responsible if the EPA shows up and shoots your dog.
