The mirrors on my Suzuki GSX600f are really close to the bike. I made a spacer/extender so the mirrors stick out 2CM more. It's not perfect but it does the job. You do need to replace the bolts for longer ones. Feel free to improve them! Post a pic if you made them, I like to see your bikes.
