Suzuki iPhone Mount

As you can tell, I like to accessorize my vehicles, this is a great mount for holding your iPhone 6s Plus, or iPhone 6 Plus. It mounts your + out of the way, easily visible, and high enough to clear even the bulky factory key as you can see in one of the pictures. The original design was a much thicker base that had a recessed stem mount, but I realized after building it that the thick base wasn't needed, and was just a waste of build material. For fitment, slide the bolt through the top of the unit (the head will recess to protect your phone), then slide the stem beneath, then use a small piece of rubber hose and a nut. As you tighten the screw, the nut will grab the rubber hose and start to compress it the rubber hose and squeeze the sides of the motorcycle stem mount making it secure. Additional Materials: • Rubber Hose - roughly 12 mm diameter and only about 12 mm long. I found mine randomly in a drawer so....FREE! :) • Bolt and nut - I can't give a length since I don't know what size hose you're going to use. Take the mount and rubber hose to a hardware store and try some on. DO NOT GET A THREAD LOCK NUT! This design only works if the nut can freely move about without a wrench. And don't worry, once you tighten it all down on your bike, that nut isn't going anywhere. As you can see from the pictures, my Hayabusa is lowered, and has thin tires because of the custom wheels, mine hasn't vibrated loose, and neither will yours. Since most Suzuki have the same neck setup, it SHOULD fit a lot of different bikes. I highly recommend you print just the iPhone stem first, slide it in and measure before printing the entire thing only to find out that it's too low, or the mount extends too far and hits the tank. Tip: 0.4mm Bed: 75 celcius Hot Tip: 230 celcius Material: ABS (chinese ebay) iPhone Case: Basic leather case from the Apple Store, also worked with a couple cheap ebay cases, and a cool Minion case. :P I tried to upload the 123d file but thingiverse doesn't accept those files yet. I am an iPhone developer so I only have iPhones to test it with, I'd love to hear if anyone has a different phone that fits. Post-Printing Fits snuggly
