Suzuki motorcycle phone mount

This is a universal phone mount for my Suzuki Burgman 650 scooter. The scooter has so much plastic covering the metal part that it leaves not much options to mount things to it without drilling holes. Can be used on other Suzuki bikes also! This design is an alternative to the commercial mounting options out there that use the clutch or break reservoir cap as mounting place. To hold the phone I purchased a very cheap phone holder from the internet. Instructions: - Print 1x Suzuki break fluid cap phone mount V2.stl o PLA (Normally not suited for outdoor. PETG is probably better but I don't have that. Instead I painted it. We will see how long it lasts) o 0.2mm, 20% infill - Print 2x screw head infill.stl o This will fill the countersink area in the original reservoir cap. o 0.2mm 100% infill - Find a 19mm diameter PVC electrical tube and cut it to size to fit the 3D printed part. 19mm is a standard size in Europe I guess and easy to find here. - Glue the headinfill parts to the bottom of the 3D printed mount. See photos. - Drill the 2 holes to 4mm diameter when the glue has dried. - Countersink the holes of the 3D printed mount. - Get 4 small screws to fix the PVC tube in the 3D printed mount. - Mount the universal phone holder to it - Mount the assembly to the bike by removing the 2 reservoir screws from the bike, place the assembly on top of the reservoir. Leave the original cap in place! Tighten the screws again.
