###Modifizierter Einsatz für Hobbyking Swamp Dawg *(for the english version see below)* ####Ich habe mir ein gebrauchtes Sumpfboot Swamp Dawg von Hobbyking gekauft: - Einer der Vorbesitzer hat in der RC-Box die Halterung für die vier Befestigungsschrauben entfernt. - Als Ergebnis hat die RC-Box am Boden nun vier Lösher über die das Wasser in den Bootsrumpf läuft. Das positive daran, es bleibt kein Wasser in der RC-Box stehen. - Um das Wasser aus dem Bootsrumpf zu bekommen, habe ich an der Spitze des Bugs auf der Oberseite ein 3mm Loch gebohrt. Darüber kann das Wasser dann nach der Fahrt problemlos aus dem Bootsrumpf abfliessen. ### Die modifizierte Halterung hat Aufnahmen für: - SLS Lipo 3SP 11,1V 30C/60C 1600 mAh - ein Micro-Servo mit Metallgebtriebe - einem Spektrum AR410 Empfänger - ESC Turnigy AE25A - Lipo Wächter mit Alarm und einer 3-stelligem LED Anzeige. *Hinweis:* - Zum zusätzlichen Schutz wurde der ESC mit "Liquid Plastic" eingestrichen.. - Der Schrumpfschlauch des Lipo-Wächters wurde entfernt und durch einen Anstrich mit "Liquid-Plastic" ersetzt. Nur so paßt der Lipo-Wächter in die entsprechende Aufnahme. ####Das Design besteht aus den follgenden Teilen: - Die "Swamp_Dawg_Wanne_v0xx" enthält alle Aufnahmen für die einzelnen RC-Komponenten. - The "Swamp_Dawg_Platte_v0xx" dient als Abstandshalter zwischen "Swamp_Dawg_Wanne_v0xx" und dem Boden der RC-Box, damit eventuell eingedrungenes Wasser aus der RC-Box in den Rumpf abfliessen kann. *Hinweis:* - Ich habe die beiden Teile nicht zusammengeklebt und auch nicht in die RC-Box geklebt. Ich habe lediglich das Servo so montiert das der ganze Einsatz auf press sitzt. ### English version ###Redesigned the servo support for the Hobbyking Swamp Dawg propelled boat. ####I buyed a used version of the Swamp Dawg: - On of the previous owners modified the inside of the RC-Box and removed the parts for the screws (see pictures). - This modification also leads to four holes on the bottom of the RC-Box. Any water inside the RC-Box now flows inside the boat hull with less harm to the electronic. ####The modified servo mounted has compartments for the following parts: - A SLS Lipo 3SP 11,1V 30C/60C 1600 mAh - A S90 compatible Micro Servo with metall gear - A spektrum AR410 receiver - As ESC a Turnigy AE25A - A Lipo Monitor with buzzer and a 3 digit LED display. *Note:* - The ESC is coated with liquid plastic. - I removed the shrinking tube from the Lipo Monitor and used liquid plastic instead. As a result the Lipo-Monitor is mutch smaller and fits in the related compartment. ####The design consists out of the following parts: - The "Swamp_Dawg_Wanne_v0xx" includes the different compartments for the rc components. - The "Swamp_Dawg_Platte_v0xx" allows the water in the RC-Box to flow in the boat hull. *Note:* - The two parts are not glued together and are also not glued in the RC-Box. I mounted the servo in a way that the parts tightly fit in the RC-Box.
