The idea of a swedish wheel with shock absorbers come from one of the works of Nesher Amir: Mecanum Wheel Type-B Revision-A1. I thought it was a very good concept so I decided to make my own version. The shock absorbers axis have an octogonal shape so it keeps the rollers at 45°.
