Sweep High Keyboard Cases and Plates
thingiverse
Sweep High cases and plates modeled using sweep-high-top-plate.dxf (exported as .dwg from AutoCAD and further sketched and extruded in Autodesk Inventor). I added cutouts so Cherry MX switches properly snap into the plate, while the cases should span the full depth of the switches and contact the PCB. There are two case versions. One case is fully enclosed and will keep dust off of the PCB, but any debris or liquid that does get in the case will be trapped there. The channeled case should allow one to blow dust out of the case and dry any water that gets between the switches. The plates provide a more traditional keyboard structure solution and could be machined with a CNC router. I have yet to print this, but I will comment when I get results.
