I watched an episode of The Woodwright Shop where Roy crafted this tiny box. I was impressed by the mechanism so much that I chose to create a 3D printed version. Mine is 60mm x 100mm in size. Assembly should be relatively straightforward because I incorporated tolerances into this design. However, I'm unsure what impact scaling will have on it. Here's how to open it: Step 1 - Swing the top lid to one side. Step 2 - Slide the second lid back and swing it to one side as well. Step 3 - Enjoy the contents of the box.
