This is a Swiss Army Style Utensil Set. I have seen these made professionally in stores and i thought it would be a viable item for 3D printing. By making this into a 3D printable item, the amount of resources is greatly reduced creating a cheaper more eco-friendly tool. My hopes for this item are to create a cheap and reusable tool that could be used to reduce costs in the Military and also create a cheap tool that could be donated to third world country's. I designed this using Autodesk 123D application. This is a free program and can be downloaded from http://www.123dapp.com/design . I have attached all my design files so feel free to tweak or improve the design. To do: Add a locking mechanism, Eliminate the need for hardware (PLA rivets?) Instructions To make this item food grade and environmentally friendly, it should be printed in PLA. To create your own Swiss Army Style Utensil Set: Get 2 3M bolts (length depends on what utensils you include - 15 mm should be enough) and 2 3m lock-nuts and 4 3m washers Print 2 ends Print desired utensils Print 1 spacer Assemble using the washers in between each utensil and the ends. The current configuration has no locking mechanism so the bolts should be tight enough so the friction prevents loose movement. The spoon will require supports If the spacer is not tall enough, use washers to extend its length. If it is too tall, you should be able to trim it down
