This floor lamp design features a switch on its shaft, which can sometimes break due to a thin flange inside the retaining nut. To fix this issue, use "Switch Knob Part 2 of 2 for Floor Lamp," replacing the broken part and working alongside "Switch Knob Part 1 of 2" for Floor Lamp. Both parts are available on Thingiverse. Print both with 1.5mm filament, then unscrew the retaining nut and insert part 2 into the lamp's switch. Replace the nut to secure part 2 in place, and add part 1 onto part 2 for a tight fit. If necessary, sand or ream the parts for a tighter fit, and consider using plumber's two-part epoxy putty or five-minute epoxy if there is still a gap after adjustments.
