Swivel Latch/Clamp
thingiverse
I was looking for a way to secure my 3D printer box tightly, so I came up with these solutions. The "left" and "right" versions refer to the side of the box where the latch is intended to be attached, with the axle cap facing down. If you don't care about the axle cap's orientation, they are reversible. A long version is included that extends the finger of the latch, which is shown in the first photo. To ensure a secure grip, glue some sandpaper to the finger if necessary. Print Settings: Printer Brand: Monoprice Printer: Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 30% Notes: White Filament at 200°C with the heated bed (plus hairspray) at 80°C How I Designed This I used Autodesk Inventor 2018 and Fusion 360 to create these designs.
