The Swoon chair was born out of specific need with many modern interior designs. In their work with the conceptual interior design of hotels and restaurants all over the world, Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rutzou of Space Copenhagen often had difficulties finding a small easy chair, something between a conventional lounge chair and a typical armchair, that would fit into lounge areas. With Swoon, they designed exactly the chair they were looking for.
