Sword of War and Peace

Finally giving a tribute to the initial object that sparked the interest of 3d printing in myself, smelissali's Sword of Feast and Famine. Seeing that for the first time, I knew that I wanted one myself. And now, after printing a couple, I am ready to try my own hand at continuing making physical copies of these legendary swords, starting with the Sword of War and Peace based off of Filip Burburan's artwork for the Masterpiece card. Just like smelissali's model, this model uses 1/4th inch dowels to connect the pieces together. I had to guess on the scale of the sword, but based the handle on my own hand, making the full model 58.5 inches (~1.5 meters) long and fairly fragile. Scaling it down is possible, but the dowels will no longer work. I would recommend printing swarnpeace6.stl with the handle side down to use the least amount of supports. I am planning on rounding out the rest of the Masterpiece swords and am currently working on the Sword of Body and Mind, so look out for that soon. I have no idea how long the Sword of Fire and Ice will take and will definitely be a challenge converting to a 3d model, a challenge am looking forward to! Enjoy the sword!
