With the frontlines shifting so rapidly, it was only natural for the SSU to reinvest into light tanks that can rapidly redeploy where needed. The T-80 was put into full production, and several new variants have been deployed. In addition to the original's 45mm gun, they are also being equipped with Tesla guns(T-80T), 23mm Maxim guns (T-80K), or RS-47 Rocket pods (RT-80).
