T-70 X-Wing Starfighter

1:1 scale model of the Incom T-70 X-Wing Starfighter. Originally built as a prototype starfighter for the new republic that was created after the battle of Endor. The T-70 was later used as the primary starfighter of the Resistance in their struggle against the First Order. I created this model right after "The Force Awakens" was released in theaters but have never really fine tuned it to the point where I was happy posting it to the public until recently. I created the model in SolidWorks using the Revell SnapTite model as the basis for the primary dimensions. I later took some creative license using images from the movies that helped inspire the completed model. The model includes my BB-8 astromech unit model that I hope to release here soon. BB-8 is a simple 1:1 scale model that doesn't have any practical functionality in this model, but I hope to add that detail when I release him later. Still This was one of my favorite models to build and I'll probably be making constant updates to it as the movies come out and give us more information on this awesome starfighter.
