<b>10/31/2018 - Just uploaded new version 3. Print both pieces, glue them together by placing the bottom of the main mount into the grove built into 3.1. Gives your camera a small shelf to set on.</b> This thing lets you mount a trail\game camera to a standard size T-Post. The hole in the top goes over the top of the t-post and then you secure the bottom of the bracket on the back side with a short piece of wire or a zip tie. There are two options for mounting the camera to the plate. Most cams come with a short strap for securing to a tree. You can use this strap utilizing the notches built into the side of the mount. Alternatively most cams now come with a standard 1/4" 20 tpi mounting point on the back of the cam. I put a slot in the middle of this thing so that you could mount the cam in this fashion if you wish. Please note I created this as a quick way to setup a trail\game camera anywhere you can drive a t-post. It works good but do not put this on public lands or where you think there may be a chance that someone else could come by and steal your camera. This device, while practical, does not offer any protection against theft. After all, it's made from plastic, right? If security is your priority, purchase one of the many metal anti theft boxes and mounts that are available from your local sporting goods store or online. I print in PETG but ABS would probably be a better choice and preferably a dark color to offer a little UV resistance. You can do as little as 10% infill if you want. Obviously the more infill the stronger it will be. No supports required if you have your printer dialed in properly! This will fit on a standard 200x200 printer no problem. HAVE FUN!
