Printed this for a friend's daughter, who loves both dinosaurs and skulls. This model was a win!

Using https://www.printables.com/model/19871-t-rex-skeleton-fixed-and-printable I printed only the skull at 200% but then realised I could do with a display stand.

I added a 5.1mm hole to the original skull STL, which makes a 10.2mm hole when printed at 200%. I used a piece of 10mm rod (about 125mm long) to mount the skull, and sketched up this display stand to mount the other end of it. The whole thing looked pretty good, and the rod was a snug fit in the skull & base - no glue required.

The “Tyrannosaurus rex” plaque is printed separately, and you do need to glue it on.

Concentric infill for the top of the plaque, and printed the text in a separate colour. Plaque gcode is attached here for PLA in case you want to try the same method.

Side note - printing the skull at double size may have caused a bit more play between the jaw and skull, they were a bit lose. I drilled two small 2mm holes and secured them with self tapping screws. I expect glue would probably work too.

One day will have to get around to printing icefox's whole skeleton.
