T-Sk8 wheels are designed to bridge the gap between various maker rails and standard t-slot extrusions such as Faztek and 80/20. Machined from solid polycarbonate; they feature a low profile captive geometry for increased strength and greater mounting options than found in traditional t-slot bearings. Metric 20 series wheels are being made available first. They will be fully compatible with all plates and accessories from DIY suppliers like Inventables.com and the OpenBuilds Parts Store. The introductory batch will consist of 80 regular and 80 mini wheels. And will also be available as kits which include; (1) Regular or Mini T Sk8 Wheel (1) M5 Nylon Lock Nut (2) Bearings (2) Shims For more information email info@bearcnc.com UPDATE The FAZ wheel and 80/20 wheel files are specific to Faztek and 80/20 extrusions respectively. A big challenge with this project is that not all 1"x1" t slot extrusions are the same. I will put specification files up as soon as I can. Print these files at 100% infill and use support where the thing touches the bed for best results. I would also recommend using a high strength co-polymer filament over PLA or ABS. Ultimately these wheels are best if milled on a lathe from bar stock like nylon or polycarbonate rod. But the stl files should proove helpful in prototyping your build. UPDATE 12/19 New MK2 files have been added!! These wheels are optimized to print with solid infill and NO supports using any material. Specs to follow as soon as possible.
