T-Slot Extrusion Clamp and Lamp

See the pdf file for a more detailed description. This is a design for a clamp to be used to attach accessories to 1-inch T-Slot extruded rails (80/20 extrusion, profile 1010). Included is a complete design for an LED lamp on a gooseneck which utilizes the clamp and can be quickly attached to or repositioned on a T-Slot extrusion. The intention is for this to provide a design that can be adapted to your own needs; Solidworks and Sketchup source files are included in the uploaded files. This design relies on gluing the clamps to a box for the lamp, and for this ABS was used. An excellent glue for ABS can be made by dissolving bits of ABS filament in acetone to make a thin paste. I've not found any suitable adhesive for PLA to create a strong joint, and so this design should be printed in ABS, or the design modified for some other attach method. Revision 9/28/2017: Added a chamfer on the cutout for the power connector, as the panel thickness is just a little too large for the switch to properly snap into place securely. Files affected: box.stl, box.factory, lamp.sldprt. I did not update lamp.skp with the chamfered cutout.
