(Long - the full story) (Scroll down to skip all the yada yada) My FLSUN PRUSA i3 Clone instructed me to wire my extruder heat sink fan from the "constant on" 12v power supply on the Makerbase board it came with. Meaning, as soon as I powered on the printer, the extruder fan was on as well...All.The.Time... printing or not. It was a smart idea at the time for me as I was just getting started with 3D printing and had no idea what I was doing and how big of a role that fan plays in the printing process. As I figured out later on, there was actually another 12v fan power supply connector on the board to enable the use of g-code on/off commands. Upon finding this out, I immediately switched over the wiring and began to use the automated g-code for turning the fan on/off. As I quickly found out, sometimes because of how fast I was changing out print jobs or starting and aborting prints while troubleshooting, sometimes that fan just didn't kick back on and I wouldn't notice it because it was supposed to be automatic and I was too focused on whatever it was I was trying to print. Ergo...clogs for days. So, back to the original wiring setup. Well now that I know everything (ha ha ha) about my printer and the process of printing... well that fan always being on has just become down right annoying, running all the time, not to mention having to replace it every few months as my printer is running nearly 24/7... (Short) To help eliminate power draw through/from my MakerBase board I decided to make this part for an easily accessible and simple to place option to house a switch for flipping the fan on/off as needed while running power to the fan directly from my power supply. JICYWTK - The 2nd switch is for my light bar. Printing notes below... Rocker Switch: http://a.co/cTNxCfx
