T12 DESOLDERING HOT TWEEZERS

This soldering tweezer is designed around the 906 style soldering iron handles that are converted to work with T12 tips, and with a pair of STC32 / STM32 soldering stations. The use of the 906 style handle is specific as the design requires the irons main board retaining collar to assist in securing the "lids" on the handles. It is also required that each iron handle is wired through the tweezer handles - i did this so that the tweezers dont have any more size than absolutely neccesary to incorporate the 906 handle inside, with the understanding that anyone building these would in all liklihood already own a soldering iron, and additionally the most economic way of obtaining these style of irons is the self assembly route in any case. I also wanted the design to (aside from the irons themselves) be almost entirely 3d printed, however you will need a nut and bolt (M3) for the hinge and a couple of tiny screws to secure the 'U' spring in place. I'm running these from 2 DSK T12 STC32 soldering stations which appear to be absolutely adequate in supplying each iron with a really decent degree of heat, they would likely be better still with a more advanced controller like the KSGER STM32 models. The tips I'm using in these are the T12-JL02 which work well at grabbing SMD components with opposing contacts pincer style, or laying the J curves against larger multi pin SMD components for removal. The adjustment wheel on the tweezers base allows the tweezer seperation distance to be set to the users desire, a preset distance for removal of specific component package sizes is often handy. The central 'U' spring provides a comfortable degree of return pressure to allow the tweezer to return back to the distance set once you have removed the component you are desoldering. The spring is secured using a couple of tiny screws and you can put a little tension on the spring to help allign the tips if you do make the hinge too loose. I hope someone else finds these as useful to them as they have been for me :)
