T42 to Canon EF-S lens Adapter (Work in progress)

T42 AKA M42, 42mm to Canon EF-S. This adapter will enable you to use most any manual lens with a EF-S mount on any camera or adapter that accepts a 42mm thread. The flange/sensor distance needs to be considered when adapting a lens to your camera. My use case is to adapt a cheap camera bellows thats only available with a EF-S mount to be used as the focusing mechanism for fixed focus enlarger lenses. The adapter prints in 2 pieces, the 42mm threaded side can be extended to change the sensor to lens distance to accommodate various camera models. Check out v2 as i have completely redesigned the adapter to have a shorter flange distance. The necessary supports are built into the the bottom half. Do not enable supports. v2 has been printed and is a perfect fit. Print Settings Printer: HicTop Prusa i3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 mm Infill: 70% Notes: Orientate with the 42mm thread side down. The EF-S mounting side has built in supports that need to be removed. Printed in ProtoPasta Carbon Fiber PLA, very little finish work has to be done as it has a nice mat finish. The part is very strong and rigid with the CF-PLA but ABS or PET-G would be fine. Straight PLA is to soft at such thin diameters. How I Designed This Drawn in tinkercad, if requested i will add a tinkercad link so the part can be edited.
