Runners for Table Saw Sled If you print this project, and you are happy with the final part, do not forget to buy me a roll of filament - in order for me to be able continue to test and improve these projects or to design new ones! If you are not happy with this design or you have problem with your printed parts - send me a message, we will try to fix it together! :) If you do not want or you can't afford to buy me a roll of filament ... its ok, I still hope you enjoy printing my designs! Pace! To avoid any inconvenient resulting by using wood runners... 3d printed parts look like a great replacement! IMPERIAL RUNNERS 0.725 & 0.75 IN (29/40 & 3/4 in; 18.415 & 19.05 mm) 18.35; 18.40; 18.45 & 18.95; 19.00; 19.05 and 19.10mm All runners are reduced in thickness - since the contact surface between the miter slot walls and the runners is 0.243 in - 6.17mm, therefore, in order to save printing time and reduce the filament consumption, the runner thickness is 6.5mm. As length, runners come in 3 groups: 150, 215 and 280mm. Since I do not have a table saw what can use runners with this dimensions, I will never print this parts; any of you printing those parts is welcome to share the experience, and let the others know the problems you may have during this project! Similar print: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4762074 For my table saw, I use two dimensions, and for the mobile table a different one. I use ASA filament at 100% infill. Nozzle 0.4.; 0.2 Corse; N255; B100; Enclose printing space. Physicals dimensions of the final part, may differ than the design dimensions. Does not matter! As long the final part fit perfectly... you are set. Scrape using a blade and sand away any print imperfections before the final check fit of the part, and then decide if is a good fit or not! Use same printer, same filament and similar settings - used to print the gauges... to print the final part! To secure those runners, use 3.5mm countersink screw. Do not use extreme force when screwing the runners... it will alter the runner shape! All parts are check for naked edges or errors - therefore ... all are going to be printable! If the design is good or if the parts are going to fit... that's another story! Disclaimer: Print and use this part at your own risk! Always follow the safety procedures for your table saw. Design to print without support ... mostly... except for the parts what need support :) By Costa
