Table War - Board Game

<p>The Origin of this Project lies back in May 2021. I wanted to design a dynamite clock to entry the competition of Timekeepers but <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/69134-dynamite-clock">Pieter</a> was faster. Then I started to design a grenade with a random countdown. I just didn't want to make a normal clock but a game instead. Unfortunately, I ran out of time and I couldn't finish it. Finally, the Tabletop Games and Puzzles contest launched and I become excited again. I finished the grenade and thought about other elements of a board game. In the end, the Idea of "table war" was born. That's why I love to taking part in a designing competition! It push my creativity, gives my motivation to finish a project…and makes me crazy, because time is always short!</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>In the designing process, I wanted to focus on following things:</p><p>- no soldering (grove connections; self-made battery case)<br>- no screws (printed clips and threads only)<br>- just plug and play (as less glue and support as possible)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I also wanted to use an Arduino and some components. It's my first Arduino project. I had no programming skills at all. Be aware: If you start using this stuff you'll get addicted for sure:-)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You need some electric parts:</p><p>- <a href="https://www.distrelec.ch/de/arduino-nano-board-arduino-a000005/p/11096733?q=Arduino+Nano+Board&amp;pos=1&amp;origPos=1&amp;origPageSize=50&amp;track=true">Arduino Nano Board</a> (A000005)<br>- <a href="https://www.distrelec.ch/de/grove-shield-fuer-arduino-nano-seeed-studio-103100124/p/30159347?queryFromSuggest=true">Grove Shield für Arduino Nano, Seeed Studio </a>(103100124)<br>- <a href="https://www.distrelec.ch/de/grove-taste-seeed-studio-111020000/p/30069945?queryFromSuggest=true">Grove Button (P), Seeed Studio</a> (111020000)<br>- <a href="https://www.distrelec.ch/de/grove-summer-seeed-studio-107020000/p/30069924?q=Grove+Buzzer%2c+Seeed+Studio&amp;pos=1&amp;origPos=1&amp;origPageSize=50&amp;track=true">Grove Buzzer, Seeed Studio</a> (107020000)<br>- <a href="https://www.distrelec.ch/de/grove-vibrationsmotor-seeed-studio-105020003/p/30069914?q=Grove+Vibration+Motor%2c+Seeed+Studio&amp;pos=1&amp;origPos=1&amp;origPageSize=50&amp;track=true">Grove Vibration Motor, Seeed Studio</a> (105020003)<br>- <a href="https://www.distrelec.ch/en/grove-digit-display-seeed-studio-104030003/p/30069901?ext_cid=shgooaqchen-P-Shopping-Fallback&amp;pi=30069901&amp;gclid=Cj0KCQjwg7KJBhDyARIsAHrAXaFHtVv9KTE5o-_5RED1LcPJ_gjhWL6IuEXvDLAmzZm7aj_VFePuU4QaAtFeEALw_wcB">Grove 4-Digit Display, Seeed Studio</a> (104030003)<br>- <a href="https://www.distrelec.ch/en/grove-universal-pin-buckled-20cm-cable-seeed-studio-110990027/p/30069937?queryFromSuggest=true">Grove 4-Pin Cable 20cm Set </a>(110990027)<br>- <a href="https://www.distrelec.ch/de/grove-kabel-mit-einrastung-seeed-studio-110990036-pcs-pkg/p/30069941?queryFromSuggest=true">Grove 4-Pin Cable 5cm Set</a> (110990036)</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You need also some other parts:</p><p>- three AA-Batteries (Mignon)<br>- a rubber band (you can also print one in soft TPU)<br>- a side cutter&nbsp;<br>- two dice<br>- USB cable</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>You need to download Arduino IDE and TM1637 Library:</p><p>- <a href="https://www.arduino.cc/en/software">Arduino IDE (Version 1.8.15)</a><br>- <a href="https://github.com/avishorp/TM1637">TM1637 Library</a></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Special thanks goes to <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/social/69572-djwhouse/prints">djwhouse</a> from Grayslake, United States!
