Tablet Cup Holder Mount or Stand

I always wondered why our tablets had a GPS in them when we really don't have an easy way to use them in a vehicle as a GPS (yea, I know, GPS is used in a lot of other apps). This mount allows you to place your LG GTAB in your car as a working GPS. My car GPS does not support maps for other countries, so when I travel to Canada or Mexico, I need to bring a second unit with me. This allows me to use my Tablet for that purpose. It fits nicely into a cup holder and allows you to swing the display around for best placement. As the ball mount part of this is the same as used on Garmin devices, you could also use the base to hold your Nuvi if you prefer not to have it on your windscreen. This base is very similar to my original GPS mount (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:780518), but I hollowed it out to save plastic, made it a little taller, and added braces to stabilize it. With the added weight of the tablet I found it was originally a little wobbly. Instructions The Tablet mount requires supports when printing. It prints best when standing up. It is designed to fit on the build plate of a Makerbot Rep2.. Though it looks like the base also would need supports, I have found it prints perfectly without them. The posted images we printed using the Simply3d slicer
