Tactile Bar Graph
thingiverse
This is a 3d Bar Graph that was remixed from an HTW Berlin (University of applied Science) design. I updated the design to improve wall strength, 3d bar graph box side connectors, and make it easier to 3d print on any standard FDM Printer. The original design idea belongs to: Industrial Design Students @ HTW Berlin (University of applied Science)” as the “owner” of the designs, so in Case the Designs continue traveling, they can refer to the primary “source”. Thank you to See3D (https://see3d.org/) and Sofia Fernandez at HTW for their collaboration with the Mountain Lakes Public Library Makerspace. This 3d Bar graph box can be extended by printing multiple boxes and connecting with the slide connectors on the side of the box. There are ten notches on each cylinder. The cylinders are slightly smaller than the 3d Bar Graph box openings, allowing for different 3d printer tolerances. Please email LakerMakersClub@gmail.com with comments and suggestions for improvement! A future version could include Braille numbers between each slot. We would need to adjust distance between slots to make more space.
