Tak - Two Sided Board and Pieces

A double-sided Tak board (6x6 and 5x5), with playing pieces. Glue small neodymium magnets in the corners of the board and base box. These magnets are surprisingly strong, so you'll need to alternate their poles so that one corner of the board has both magnets attracting each other with the positive ends facing the 6x6 side, the next corner with positive poles facing the 5x5, then facing 6x6 again, and finally 5x5 for the last corner. Do the same for the base, with positive facing up in the first corner, then down, up, down going around the corners. I hope that makes some sort of sense. I made a diagram, hope it helps get the point accross. Of course, if you don't intend to keep the board on the base when playing, you could always just place the magnets on one side of the board only and have all the poles facing the same way. The base box has a reminder for the number of pieces to use for each board size, written in a bit of shorthand. 6:30/1, for example, means that when playing 6x6, use 30 stones and one capstone per player. I also used a marker to mark of a 4x4 grid on the 6x6 side and a 3x3 grid on the 5x5 side. The board is pretty large and just barely fits my Ultimaker 2+ bed: 7.25 x 7.25 inches (184.15 x 184.15 mm). You could scale things, but then you'd have to figure out what size you need for the magnets or just do without them. Rules for Tak can be found here.
