In the midst of utter devastation in mid-20th century, the monastery of Saint Anthony of Lisbon in Montemor-o-Novo concealed within its vaulted ceilings, prior to its architectural reconstruction, a collection of unmatched pottery in the national landscape of the 16th century. Due to its specificity and quantity, this collection at the Museum of Archaeology in Montemor-o-Novo serves as a unique example for understanding its historical context, not only by representing the pieces as useful objects but also by their reuse as an architectural construction element. The body is bitroncoconic, the neck is closed, and the rim is extruded in an abutment.
