Tall and Thin Resistor Drawers

These were specifically made for the dimensions of my workbench's bottom shelf—but hey! Who knows, maybe someone else will have the exact same circumstances of a 160mm tall shelf (the drawers themselves are 140mm tall or there about), and the need of storage for a bunch of resistors. Or maybe you'll find utility for them in circumstances I have not even thought of. The Mk2 drawer design has a very subtle chamfer along the bottom edges depth-wise. I found, on my printer anyways, the first few layers tended to create a flair and I didn't want to have to do post-printing work on a whole bunch of little drawers; I wanted them to all just slot right in there. It was a happy accident—and I don't know if it'll work out this way for everyone— but I found with this drawer it slides in with virtually no resistance however in the last 2mm it has almost a slight click into place at just the right amount of resistance to keep them from falling out easily but they're still easy to pull out. Yes yes yes, plenty of innuendo in there. Some may find the gap tolerance a bit much, but like I said my priority was to design this to go straight from the print bed into use without any post-print work. The Mk1 design is basically the same except it doesn't have the chamfer. I had initially tried just using a fillet but it was so small that my printer didn't have the resolution to meaningfully produce it on the print. You might be able to make that work by using a smaller nozzle than me (0.4mm). I plan on making some label templates for the drawers, so check back if that's something you'd be interested in. However if you'd like to make your own the label size would be 15x5mm, maybe minus 0.2-0.4mm. Yes, tiny labels.
