Talon Claw V3 to V4 Longer Stroke Conversion

Edit: 11/5/2019 added the AR15 V4 front rail cover here. This is a conversion that allows you to get 19mm / 3/4 of an inch more piston travel out of your Talon Claw. It also lengthens the total blaster by 19mm. A K25 with 1/2 inch pre-load on a monkey mods 12.5 inch barrel is 230fps consistent with workers. This conversion requires new prime rods and threaded rods. So it is not just a simple conversion. You would need new std Caliburn prime rods and cut them down. Not for everyone. This does not replace the V3, its just an option. Two printed parts are needed, the new piston and front rail. Because you are compressing the springs so much there are likely less spring options. The 788 and K25 work. The K25 will be the preferred choice for higher FPS. I have tested the K25 with 0-1 inch of pre-load, more may be possible, I have not tried. Optionally there is also a Long shot piston remixed from slug and a rear cover if you want to use a long shot spring. Edit: After ordering multiple LS spring their size and lengths vary so much, good luck with LS springs. I don't claim this is safe or tested for safety.
