1/19/20 the new Tamiya King Hauler V2 is uploaded and ready to download i am leaving this one it spring suspension and does does work realy well if you print the frame at 100% infill but if you are building from scratch you should check out and download the new version it is completely Tamiya build and 10000% better https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4109447 9/8/19 update i have finally got the tool box switch box finished and uploaded decided to run the truck in the hall and nead to switch off sound when you hear doors slamming that is a indicator that i nead to shut the sound off before all your neighbors take your truck and throw it out the window 8/2/19 uploaded new motor mount to clear steering linkage the 12v motor interferes with the steering linkage this also increases the speed and torque of the motor by putting it inline with the drive shaft just a little bit but it is noticeable 8/2/19 update note i have noticed if you use a 6v motor to use a 12v battery if using a 12v motor use a 24v battery you will still be in the ratings for these motors as the 6v range is from 6-12 and the 12v motor is rated at 12 to 20v this gives this truck the pulling power it needs to pull a trailer other wise it does run but just not up to my specs most ESC are rated up to 20 volts you might have to purchase a 24v ESC for 24v battery but i believe that 4 volts should not over volt a 20v ESC or damage it if anything it might just see the over volt and just shut down with no damage i might be wrong try at your own risk brushed ESC's are cheep to replace ???? 9/30/19 uploaded motor mount for 540 motor/motor u-joint for 540 motor and battery box for Zeee 7200mAh 80C 3S 11.1V Hard case Lipo Battery according to the specs it should fit the original holder but you will not be able to lock it down 3/13/19 i have made some more frame adjustments and have adapted this truck for the GT Power sound and voice controller i have discovered that the #5 5/8" screws for plastic that i purchased are the last on this planet this makes no sense to me as everything you purchase uses #5 screws for plastic but you just can not buy them anyplace #4 5/8" acording to specs are the same 3mm dia and should work and are available also #5 1/2" wood screws are pretty much available and shoud work as well hear is the only place on this planet to purchase any size screws for plastic Screwerk https://us.screwerk.com/en/shop/grid/stp.html?L=10.00&d1=3.0&drive=H&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIk9--sPr74AIVciCtBh1RDgsUEAAYASAAEgIrjfD_BwE&head=B&material=S so i now have 2 versions of the frame screws for plastic and nuts and bolts one note that i have to mention and this is quite important this is the most complex thing you will ever download on thingyverse with 2 printers going 24hrs for 7days of printing time and i mean 24hr days no break time so this is going to be a torture test of you and your printer and expect to use about 3 full rolles of filament so if there is anything ready to go on your printer this project will break it guaranteed update i have finaly recieved the bearings after 3 orders and 2 wrong parts sent so i have decided to repair the axle bearing holes so these bearings can be used if so desired i have not got the new axles compleatly re-printed yet to see the differance but the sleeve bearings that i have included do work pretty good so you can either print the 50mm shocks and bearings or purchase them i know that some who build this want nothing but the best and will want to purchase i make all my stuff for the cheep who can not afford to purchase separate parts i have also decided to put all the electronics in this truck and finish it so i will be making the side step switch box and posting it separately i have ordered the sound box and will be ordering the light kit soon so i can not make the side box till i receive all the electronics so i know the switch placements i have almost completely remixed MRcrakyface v4 truck to make this thing work every thing is printable all you nead is screws and bolts and electronics the cab and other parts on this truck are first prints and have ben fixed so your truck will have the proper cab as well as hollow cab light for inserting lights the springs require click pen springs or 5mm od x 25mm small springs there are 2 bearings the 6700zz i can now understand what the comment about bearings not fitting in the differentials this is not a calibration issue this is a problem with the designer one axle is correct but the other 2 have a 15mm dia cut this is the size of the bearing but when creating 3d parts to fit you must add 1mm so those should have ben 16mm in the design i could have fixed this but it would be a lot more work than i want to do so i have added bearings to specialty fit these 2 differentials i have also had to shorten the differentials the where 10mm to wide to match this truck as well as not allowing the shocks to screw directly into the frame all parts are now put together with screws for plastic these are easier to obtain and cheaper than the metric nuts and bolts you still nead the metric screws to mount the 4 rear rims and the grub screws for the U joints and steering refer to MRcrankyface video for putting the frame and suspension together this video still applies to this truck
