Tamiya Holiday Buggy DT-02 Narrowed Rear Arms

Rear A-Arms for a Tamiya Holiday Buggy 2010 re-release, based on the DT-02 chassis. A very simple design whipped up to match the truly fantastic front suspension made by user "eggmceye" https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2640371 My design isn't perfect by any means, but could prove itself useful to someone looking for an easy solution to the DT-02's overly wide stance when paired with the Holiday Buggy's narrow body shell. (seriously, the only buggy in the Tamiya buggy lineup with fenders is the only buggy to have the tires sticking out like that?) Not tested on any other vehicles on the platform besides the Holiday. May fit a Sand Rover? They do not need any additional hardware to be installed, and use the stock DT-02 suspension pins. They DO, however, need a pair of shortened dogbones! I recommend HPI part #88003 as they drop in perfectly with no problems and hold up to rougher bashing with no issues. You will need to print one of each of the files provided, then mirror them in your CAD software for the other side. Despite their simple design, they are not reversible. The angled parts face INTO the drive shafts, these angles are to give the drive cups enough clearance to spin freely. I recommend drilling out the holes with a power drill to better fit the suspension pins and avoid over-tightening the pins as the threading on the screw can break the parts along the layer lines. I have printed mine flat at 70% infill in plain black "nothing special" PLA with absolutely zero durability issues whatsoever. Their stout design makes them pretty robust. Due to the shorter leverage on the suspension and the firm stock suspension I recommend replacing the stock rear friction dampers with proper oil shocks with a light setup or simply removing the rubber tube inside the shock assembly of the stock dampers for softer (and bouncier) dampening. If unmodified the stock dampers are too firm, and kick up the entire tail of the buggy on small bumps. I hope this helps someone out there to print a little love for their Holly!
