Tamiya King Hauler Version 2 I feel this truck has turned out quite well but I’m most certainly open to your comments and/or perceived revisions needed. I’ve also recently made a few changes and improvements: 2/24/2020 The entire directory has been completely re-vamped. Please advise if you see any additions or deletions still needed. 2/9/2020 uploaded the missing differential shim spacers. 2/3/2020 have added 4 screws to the Power Divider, there was too much play in the box allowing it to split if used hard. Uploaded the missing arms for the front differential. Re-worked the drive shafts, they now have less play. The frame now has the proper dimensions and is made stronger. Added heavy duty front & rear springs. This truck will now handle a heavy load with out bottoming-out the rear wheels. Four shocks are only needed on the rear now, the front ones are no longer used. Split the fuel tank for a cleaner print. Connected the hood to the engine cover for a cleaner print. Remixed the rims and wheels for a better assembly and to look more like the original Tamiya wheels. Wired the sound and all the lights to the sound board, which, for your information, is capable of handling 5 led lights per outlet. *** This truck can now be made into the heavy wrecker everyone has been asking for. It’s in the works and should be available soon!
