Simple shells to protect standard size NiMH packs and take up excess space when used in the Tamiya Frog and Hotshot. Got tired of seeing new batteries in my son's cars take such a beating! Battery slips or snaps into the shell, and the shell is held in place by the little tab between the metal gearbox sides. Everything is snug and the battery no longer flops around. The inside shape of this could be modified to fit smaller soft pack LiPos and not worry about damage to the soft shell. Added a basic shell of the dimensions of a 7.2v 3000 MAh NiMH pack that could fit a LiPo up to 22mm x 42mm x 125mm in size, wires included, or you could cut a slot in the side for the wires to exit.
