Tamiya TL-01 steering knuckle

This object is a replacement steering knuckle for the Tamiya TL-01 (and perhaps other chassis). The M4/5mm step screw has been replaced by an M3x10mm screw, this allows for more 'flesh' on the knuckle around the steering hinge and reinforcing it. To fit the 3mm screw into the 5mm hole of the C-bracket I've included a bushing that basically changes the M3 screw into a stepping screw. Please take note of your printer's tolerances, they are crucial to get this dimensionally accurate. This knuckle is designed to be a tight fit to eliminate the usual Tamiya play. You will have to use a bit of force to insert the bearings. A bit of filing or sanding may be necessary to get everything moving freely but you'll end up with much less play in the whole suspension compared to the original parts. _creative commons attribution noncommercial no derivatives license_
