Used in Histology to make sure that a piece of tissue is flat ("Tamped down") on the botom of the embedding well. Designed in trueSpace and printed on an Up!3D printer. Instructions Download, scale to fit your favorite mold and print out. You can smooth the bottom with sandpaper and then a coat of turpentine to disolve the surface layer. This really isn't needed because the botom gets infiltrated with wax and is perfectly smooth.
