Tamping station

Tamping station

thingiverse

This is a tamping/grinding/resting-station for the portafilter of a ROK espresso maker. It features a detatchable funnel for using it with the ROK coffee grinder. Ditch the included inconvenient metal cup and grind your coffee directly into your portafilter! Probably it fits portafilters of different brands as well but you better measure the CAD data before printing. Because of excessively surface smoothing the poly-count is pretty high in the original file. If you need a lower resolution for whichever reason, use the two lo-res alternatives or smooth it to your needs with the original blender file. Print Settings Printer: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0,1mm Infill: 40% Notes: Filament: Extrudr Fichte (wood) Nozzle size: 0,6mm Nozzle temp: 220°C Bed temp: 50°C Speed: 60mm/s Wall speed: 50mm/s Number of walls: 2 Fans: 100% Support is recommended for angles above 88% - there's a cavity on the bottom of the station which needs support. I added this cavity to reduce bed-adhesion - otherwise I'm unable to remove the print without damaging the base.
